First Meet
2016
It all began at Connect Church ATL when we were just in the eighth grade. Alanah came as a guest of another member, and Solomon’s ... heart was captured the moment he saw her—it was love at first sight. Alanah, however, played it cool, making Solomon work hard to win her over. From that moment on, Solomon’s unwavering pursuit of Alanah began, marking the start of something truly special.
First Date
2017
Our first date was in the summer after ninth grade. Solomon, determined to make it memorable, treated Alanah to a movie at the mall. The entire outing ... was funded by the money he had carefully saved from working at a Christmas tree lot the previous winter—a true labor of love. That first date was the start of countless cherished memories.
In tenth grade, our story faced its first challenge: Alanah had to move back to Michigan. For two years, we nurtured a long-distance relationship, holding onto the hope that she would one day return. We exchanged gifts for Christmas and birthdays, each one a token of our love. Though our visits were rare, they were filled with joy. When Alanah finally moved back, our relationship grew deeper, and we became even more serious about our future together.
Proposal

After high school, life led us to new horizons. We embarked on our college journeys while holding tightly to our love. Despite the demands of our separate ... paths, we remained steadfast. Eventually, we both transferred to the same university, where our dreams started to align. Solomon pursued Mechanical Engineering, while Alanah followed her passion for Political Science with the intention of going to law school.
Those years were marked by countless sleepless nights and relentless hard work. Solomon often spent over 24 hours straight in the engineering lab, and Alanah was always by his side, supporting him through it all. Amid the chaos of deadlines and projects, we cherished every moment we could find to be together, creating romantic memories that sustained us through the grind.
Our hard work paid off. Alanah graduated summa cum laude, among the top of her class, and Solomon followed closely behind with his engineering degree. To celebrate these milestones, Solomon planned a magical graduation trip to Disney World. After an exciting day at Animal Kingdom, Solomon surprised Alanah by planning an extravagant date night outside the Disney resort. Alanah was confused but intrigued. That evening, Solomon got down on one knee and proposed. The next morning, Alanah entered Magic Kingdom for the first time—as an engaged woman. From high school sweethearts to college lovers, our journey had brought us to this incredible moment.

As an engaged couple, we are now preparing for the next chapter of our lives. Solomon is working to establish his career, and Alanah is focused on beginning ... law school. Together, we are dedicating our marriage to God, recognizing that none of this would have been possible without His guidance and grace. Our prayer is to inspire others by leading a Christ-centered marriage and encouraging young couples to follow a righteous path. With faith as our foundation, we are ready to embark on this new journey, hand in hand, heart to heart.
